Specialist Disability Support Worker

About the RoleThis is a dynamic opportunity for a passionate and experienced support worker to join our team. We're seeking someone who shares our commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care that prioritizes each individual's unique needs and preferences.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a patient approach. You'll be responsible for supporting our clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, domestic duties, and transportation. A full driver's license and willingness to provide transport in your own vehicle (reimbursed by us) are essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality support services to our clients with physical disabilities, including transfers, equipment use, and hoisting.
- Assist with personal care activities, such as showering and dressing.
- Support clients with domestic duties, such as cleaning and meal preparation.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Minimum 12 months' experience supporting people with physical disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and empathetic approach, with a focus on client-centered care.
- A full driver's license and willingness to provide transport in your own vehicle.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
