About the Role

Yooralla seeks a supportive and patient Disability Support Worker to join our Residential Accommodation team. The successful candidate will work closely with adults with disability in their homes and occasionally in the community, supporting them to achieve their goals and live the lives they choose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement personalised plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client
  • Support clients with daily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility
  • Provide overnight care and support clients with shopping, appointments, and events
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality support services

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about supporting people with disability, has a positive approach, and is willing to learn. You will have effective communication skills, good English literacy, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team. A Certificate IV in Disability or relevant work experience is desirable, but not essential.
