Strategic Sourcing Professional

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Professional to join our team. This role is crucial to the business, requiring collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to drive value-adding procurement strategies.

The Role:

  • Identification of opportunities for improvement in current sourcing practices.
  • Development and documentation of sourcing processes and procedures for adoption across the business.
  • Leadership of key sourcing activities including RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations.
  • Presentation of business cases and recommendations to senior/executive leadership teams.
  • Drafting and negotiation of new supplier agreements.
  • Review and consolidation of existing supplier arrangements to ensure alignment with internal criteria.
  • Market research, pricing, and benchmarking reviews.
  • Relationship building and maintenance with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Contract and supplier management.
  • Upskilling and training of stakeholders across the business in sourcing practices.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a strategic sourcing role.
  • Desirable background in FMCG or chemical/packaging sourcing.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage 15-20+ suppliers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
