Job Description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Food Service Associate to join our team.

About the Role

This role is accountable for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for patients, residents, and customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food according to set guidelines and menus, packaging and portioning food items, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare food according to established recipes and presentation standards
  • Package and portion food items accurately and efficiently
  • Serve meals to patients, residents, and customers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, dishes, tables, and serving areas to maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 46lbs and push/pull meal carts weighing up to 250lbs
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending and reaching
