Job Title: Career Pathways Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team in delivering the Inclusive Employment Australia program.

As a Career Pathways Specialist, you will work collaboratively with clients and employers to create sustainable job pathways. You will source career opportunities, match clients to suitable roles, and champion inclusive employment practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and create career opportunities for clients, ensuring a seamless transition into meaningful employment.
  • Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, promoting equal access to employment for people with disability.
  • Engage with employers to address skill shortages through innovative recruitment strategies.
  • Broker work experience to build client skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Prepare workplaces to support participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services - desirable
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively
  • Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability
  • Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills

The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks including a current criminal record check, working with children check, NDIS Worker Screen Clearance, employment history, driver's license, and referee checks.
