
Career Pathways Specialist

This role involves collaborating with individuals and employers to develop sustainable job pathways and inclusive hiring practices. The successful candidate will work within the community, supporting people to access meaningful employment through our Inclusive Employment Australia program.
The program is delivered across key regions in New South Wales and Queensland, focusing on helping more people access meaningful employment and build lasting careers.
Main Responsibilities- Create career opportunities by matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
- Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health conditions.
- Engage and work with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
- Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
- Pprepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
- Ffacilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
- Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
- Promote us as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
- Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
- Champion our values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.

Key Skills and Qualifications- A qualification in Employment or Human Services - desirable
- Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively
- Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions
- Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A current Driver's License - essential
