Job Description

Partnerships Development Specialist

Support people to access meaningful employment by partnering with participants and employers to create pathways to sustainable jobs and inclusive hiring practices.

Work in the community, delivering a program across key regions in New South Wales and Queensland, focusing on helping more people access meaningful employment and build lasting careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and create career opportunities, matching clients to suitable and sustainable roles.
  • Champion inclusive employment and workforce diversity, focusing on people with disability, injury or health conditions.
  • Engage and work with employers to address skill shortages through role carving and inclusive recruitment.
  • Broker work experience to build participant skills and assess employer/client compatibility.
  • Prepare workplaces to support and retain participants via adjustments and disability confidence training.
  • Facilitate employer training to boost disability awareness and inclusion.
  • Build employer and community networks to create job opportunities.
  • Promote yourself as a trusted provider supporting people with disability to achieve career goals.
  • Meet or exceed internal and external performance benchmarks.
  • Champion values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Employment or Human Services - desirable

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and manage workload effectively
  • Strong understanding of employment barriers faced by people with disability, injury, or health conditions
  • Skilled in providing tailored support and developing client-focused employment plans
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Current Driver's License - essential
