- Conduct engineering reviews and approvals for projects in line with your authority delegations.
- Support LMA E&T Functional Managers/Leads with feedback on staff performance and recommendations for training and development.
- Mentor and guide team members on task execution and process implementation.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder input for project definition, planning, and delivery.
- Support the planning, coordination, and delegation of tasks within the Platform Engineering Team.
- Monitor project and task performance against schedule and cost requirements.
As the Deputy Platform Engineering Manager, you will be a key contributor to the UH-60 M Engineering Team. This multi-disciplinary team includes ADF, APS, and LMA staff and is responsible for managing and delivering UH-60 M Black Hawk engineering upgrades and capability improvements.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Avionics, Electrical) from an accredited institution.
- Eligible for Chartered Professional Engineer status in relevant disciplines such as Systems Engineering, Leadership & Management, or Aeronautical Engineering.
- Eligible to receive Engineering Delegations within the DASR regulatory framework.
- Extensive knowledge of Aviation regulations, including Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) Part 21 and Part M.
- Extensive experience with aircraft systems/subsystems, particularly rotary wing.
- Proven track record in Configuration Management and baselining of engineering artifacts.
