Energy Procurement Manager, APAC Energy Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Procurement Manager to join our team in Asia Pacific. In this role, you will be responsible for owning and delivering energy supply contracts for Amazon data centers across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Owning and delivering electricity supply and retail contracts for data center energy supply
- Analyzing trends and regulations in the energy space to identify opportunities that benefit Amazon
- Working collaboratively with Amazon's infrastructure and capacity delivery team to support cost-effective energy and utility-compliant colocation sites
- Maximizing renewable energy content in delivered energy through green tariffs, physical power purchase agreements, or retailer-backed renewable purchases
- Delivering energy cost savings programs across AWS sites and its colocation sites
You will be part of a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. What You'll Need- Bachelor's degree in Energy, Engineering, Economics, Business, Math, or a similar field
- 5+ years of experience in APAC energy markets, power contract negotiations, energy regulations, or energy generation technologies
- Proven track record of cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, or customers
- Experience building relationships and working with industry stakeholders, such as retailers, utilities, regulators, consultants
