About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Energy Procurement Specialist to join our team in the Asia Pacific region. As an Energy Procurement Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the energy needs of Amazon's data centers are met while minimizing costs and environmental impact.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Owning and delivering electricity supply and retail contracts for data center energy supply
  • Analyzing trends and regulations in the energy space to proactively identify opportunities that benefit Amazon
  • Working collaboratively with Amazon infrastructure and capacity delivery team to support the cost-effective energy and Utility energy compliant colocation sites
  • Maximizing renewable energy content in delivered energy through green tariff, physical PPAs or retailer-backed renewable purchases

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Energy/Engineering/Economics/Business/Math or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience in APAC energy markets, power contract negotiations, energy regulations, or energy generation technologies
  • Proven track record for cultivating strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, or customers
