Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced workforce optimisation lead to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our services and ensuring that we deliver high-quality support to individuals with disabilities.

The successful candidate will have expertise in workforce planning and rostering, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. You will work closely with practice leaders, managers, and support teams to develop and maintain efficient and accurate rosters that meet the needs of our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting the SCL rostering team to ensure timely and efficient workforce rosters
  • Collaborating with Practice Leaders and Operations Managers to develop and maintain Service Agreements and Rosters of Care
  • Interpreting NDIS plans, generating accurate service quotes, and engaging with customers, families, and guardians to explain and finalise service agreements
  • Working cross-functionally with Finance and Business Support teams to ensure rosters are financially sustainable and support optimal staff utilisation
  • Driving continuous improvement across rostering and service agreement processes, reducing reliance on agency staff and enhancing service continuity
  • Ensuring workforce strategies reflect person-centred, culturally responsive practices that uphold the voices and needs of our customers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or a similar qualification (desirable)
  • Experience in workforce rostering and optimisation, ideally within the NDIS or community services sector
  • Deep understanding of NDIS plans, Service Agreements, and ability to translate these into actionable, sustainable staffing models
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to mentor a team and collaborate across functions
  • Confidence in working with families and guardians to explain supports and negotiate service arrangements
  • Attention to detail, with strong planning, systems, and documentation skills
  • Collaborative, solution-focused approach and passion for improving outcomes for people living with disability
