Key Position:

We are seeking an exceptional Workforce Optimisation Lead to drive strategic workforce planning and optimise resource allocation across our Student Experience teams.

About the Role:

The Workforce Optimisation Lead will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative workforce strategies, partnering with leaders to align workforce planning with organisational goals. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing workforce management and scheduling tools, forecasting and monitoring resource allocation, collaborating with leaders to align workforce skillsets with service needs, providing real-time workforce adjustments to maintain service levels, analysing performance metrics, preparing reports and recommending improvements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing workforce optimisation, including proficiency with workforce management software
  • Strong analytical skills for forecasting and reporting on workforce data
  • Exceptional communication skills, including report writing and business case development
  • Expertise in designing and improving workforce strategies and evaluation frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure
  • Understanding of Aboriginal culture and community
