Job Description:

As a Timetabling Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of academic delivery and space utilisation across campuses. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate internal and external room bookings, guaranteeing that all teaching spaces are utilized effectively.

You will work closely with Timetabling Coordinators and other stakeholders to develop, deliver, and maintain academic timetables for both Ikon and ALG. This position requires strong organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and collaborative communication to align timetables with student needs, staff availability, and institutional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage system changes to ensure seamless operations
  • Coordinate internal room bookings and documentation
  • Arrange external room bookings and space hiring
  • Document change requests and monitor progress
  • Utilise reporting tools to track class capacities
  • Develop progression maps for ALG and Ikon
  • Pre-allocate and manage in-system allocations
  • Balance classes and optimise resource utilisation
  • Clean report data and ensure accuracy
  • Enrol students and manage related administrative tasks
  • Update various spreadsheets and respond to Zendesk tickets

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential qualifications include a relevant degree and previous experience in the education sector, preferably in a timetabling or scheduling role. You must possess intermediate to advanced Excel skills and demonstrate a clear understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.

Australian citizens or those with the right to work in Australia are preferred candidates. Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 is also necessary. A positive attitude, creative thinking, and cross-cultural awareness are highly valued attributes.
