Academic Timetabling Specialist

The Academic Timetabling Specialist role is responsible for developing and managing academic timetables to optimize space utilization across all campuses. This involves coordinating with stakeholders to meet academic needs and deadlines while utilizing resources efficiently.

This position requires the ability to create and publish academic calendars, examination timetables, and ensure rooms are allocated effectively to maximize usage capacity.

  • Develop and implement a centralized timetabling system to streamline scheduling processes.
  • Work closely with academic and campus operations teams to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships.
  • Support the creation of courses in student information systems and set up classes accordingly.
  • Ensure class sizes are maximized to meet room capacity and approved academic class caps.
  • Monitor and produce timetable-related reports to inform decision-making.

Key qualifications include a relevant qualification, previous experience in timetabling or scheduling roles, and proficiency in Microsoft Office365.
