
Offender Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional who will supervise individuals under conditions, develop and implement rehabilitative strategies, monitor progress toward goals, and conduct home visits to ensure compliance.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience, nationally recognised training, and clear progression within Corrective Services NSW.
You will contribute to better outcomes for diverse communities, with emphasis on Aboriginal and CALD communities.
This role offers the ideal candidate opportunities to develop their skills in case management, relationship building, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise individuals under conditions to ensure public safety and offender rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement tailored rehabilitative strategies that address individual needs and circumstances.
- Monitor progress toward established goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular home visits to maintain open communication and ensure compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A deep understanding of the NSW criminal justice system and its complexities.
- Excellent case management skills, including assessment, planning, and intervention.
- A strong commitment to strengthening relationships between Community Corrections and local service providers and the Aboriginal community.
- An ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong values and behaviours that prioritise community safety and well-being.
