Treatment and Rehabilitation Psychologist

The Clinical/Forensic Psychologist will provide specialist forensic mental health care, addressing clinical, psychosocial, behavioural, and risk factors while applying best-practice clinical tools.
This role involves delivering specialist clinical assessments, case formulation, and psychological interventions to individuals presenting with problem sexual behaviours.
The psychologist will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to optimise patient treatment and recovery and build capacity to manage problem behaviours.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist clinical assessments and case formulation for individuals with problem sexual behaviours.
- Deliver psychological interventions individually, in groups, and via virtual or telehealth as needed.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) with an accredited 6th year Master degree or higher in Clinical or Forensic Psychology.
- Demonstrated experience in forensic mental health practice, specifically risk assessment, clinical risk management, and psychological treatment of problematic behaviours.
The Treatment and Rehabilitation Clinic provides evidence-based biopsychosocial treatment and rehabilitation services to support individuals in achieving recovery from complex disorders that result in problematic behaviours including offending.
The clinic is located in a brand new purpose-built facility in Surry Hills, close to public transport options.
