**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Inventory Specialist to join our team at Microsoft. As a Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory management systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform cycle audits and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries to ensure seamless inventory management.
  • Coordinate security escorts for third-party vendors and document inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Leverage process knowledge and best judgment to complete tasks with minimal direct supervision.
  • Maintain accurate logical information within various inventory management systems.
  • Ensure detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
  • Reconcile and report inventory discrepancies.
  • Perform destruction of data bearing devices following all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Microsoft policies.
  • Notify management about ordering stock shortages and escalate any issues.
  • Comply with security and data management policies.
