Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team at Amazon Data Centers.

About the Role

  • Assist in the management of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors to ensure all work is performed according to established practices and procedures.
  • Maintain performance benchmarks, analyze data, and prepare reports on critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
  • Generate Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets as directed.
  • Learn and contribute to documentation relevant to business and facility operations.
  • Assist with the installation of racks and provision of power/cooling within constraints.
  • Participate in routine maintenance and emergency services for critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and more.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, commissioning, and build-out of new facilities.
  • Manage Facility assets and provide infrastructure and inventory asset management as directed.
  • May participate in Construction and Operational Meetings as required.
  • Ensure Work Order compliance and review contractual SLAs.
  • Interface with Infra Ops teams for day-to-day operational requirements.

  • Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Physical Security protocol awareness.
  • Computer literate, confident with Office Suite.
