Job Title: Senior Liaison Officer

Department Liaison Office

The Department Liaison Office is seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill the role of Senior Liaison Officer. This exciting opportunity allows the successful candidate to play a key role in facilitating communication and collaboration between the Ministerial Office and the Department.

As a Senior Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for managing enquiries related to services and responsibilities of Housing and Public Works, providing project and administrative support to the DLO team, and conducting research and analysis to present information appropriately.

You will also be required to work collaboratively as an effective team member, maintain secure information management systems, monitor and track correspondence for the DLO team, and operate high volume mailboxes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage telephone communications from the public to the Minister's Office.
  • Record, track, and monitor telephone enquiries for timely action by the department.
  • Respond to enquiries from stakeholders in a timely manner for effective resolution.
  • Provide project and administrative support to the DLO team.
  • Conduct research and analysis to present information appropriately.
  • Work collaboratively as an effective team member.
  • Maintain secure information management systems.
  • Monitor and track correspondence for the DLO team.
  • Operate high volume mailboxes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
