Racing NSW – Appointment of Members

Racing NSW is seeking highly skilled and experienced individuals to join its board as members. As a member of the board, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the thoroughbred racing industry in New South Wales.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in a senior administrative role or experience at a senior level in one or more of the fields of business, finance, law, marketing, technology, commerce, regulatory administration, or regulatory enforcement. They will be required to act in the public interest and in the interests of the horse racing industry as a whole in the State.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance and advice to the board on matters related to the thoroughbred racing industry
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies conducive to the promotion, strategic development, and welfare of the industry
  • Ensure the board's decisions are in the best interests of the industry and the public
Selection Criteria

The selection panel will consider EOIs based on merit, taking into account a candidate's abilities, qualifications, experience, and personal attributes relevant to the performance of the duties of membership of Racing NSW. EOIs are particularly welcome from candidates who possess experience across a range of fields and have an appreciation of the issues affecting the thoroughbred racing industry.
