Open Cut Coal Mine Professional

We are seeking a Mining Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Technical Services group, you will be responsible for delivering best practice mining engineering services and support to our Truck and Shovel fleet.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing up to 5 Truck fleets
- Developing and implementing short to medium term (up to 18 month) mining strategies and mine plans
To be successful in this role, we require a tertiary qualified Mining Engineer with at least 3 years post graduate experience gained in an open cut environment.
Desirable skills and attributes include:
- Short to medium term design, planning and/or scheduling within an open cut operation
- Truck & Shovelexperience
- Ability to understand functionality of business systems and extract relevant data for business purposes
- Track record in driving continuous improvement
- Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
