A challenging role for a skilled Coal Mining Engineer has become available in our Australian operations. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our coal mining efforts, utilising their expertise in open cut mining to ensure optimal production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your experience in mine scheduling software to optimise haulage and deliver achievable mine plans.
  • Engage with the production team to communicate mine plans and schedules, ensuring that the production processes are optimised to continuously increase operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement short to medium term mining strategies and mine plans, taking into account recent mine expansion approvals.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified Mining Engineer with at least 3 years post graduate experience gained in an open cut environment.
  • Experience in driving best practices through your department and into the business.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Benefits:
