Open Cut Coal Mine Specialist

This is a key role in our open cut coal mine utilising draglines and other equipment.
The job requires delivering best practice mining engineering services to our fleet of draglines, developing and implementing short to medium term mining strategies and mine plans, leveraging experience and knowledge in mine scheduling software to optimise and deliver achievable mine plans, and engaging with the production team to communicate mine plans and schedules to ensure operational efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you should have tertiary qualified Mining Engineer with at least 3 years post graduate experience in an open cut environment, short to medium term design, planning and/or scheduling within an open cut operation, and dragline experience and ability to drive best practices through your department.
