Electrical Project Manager Role

We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a skilled Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of electrical design and supply scope packages on a large renewable energy project in Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and manage the full scope of electrical design and supply scope packages to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and meeting specifications.
  • Pursue opportunities for design optimization/value engineering.
  • Review project documents such as design drawings, specifications, inspection reports, and changes, and take appropriate action if required.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks to enable the project to meet its schedule and obligations, minimize risk, and maximize opportunities for cost avoidance and/or cost reduction.
  • Manage subcontractors during the construction and commissioning phase.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree qualified in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in delivering electrical packages of works on major infrastructure, energy, O&G, or power generation projects.
  • Strong project management and client-facing skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
