Job Title: Senior Electrical Project Engineer

About the Role:

PHE Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join a prestigious energy project in Australia. This long-term position offers a unique opportunity for someone ready to step into a senior role and make a significant impact on a nationally important project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of HV/LV electrical reticulation systems and construction power infrastructure
  • Work closely with the project lead to deliver engineering milestones across multiple stages
  • Use AutoCAD, PowerCAD or ETAP to produce and review electrical designs
  • Oversee temporary power systems, manage completion systems, and interface with site contractors
  • Use engineering and construction knowledge to dynamically solve problems faced during construction

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
  • RPEQ registered or eligible (preferred)
  • Practical site knowledge of HV/LV systems, temporary/construction power
  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects ($5M–$10M+)
  • Completion system experience (e.g., PIMS, HEXAGON equivalent) highly desirable
  • Trade background (e.g., Electrician) is a plus but not essential
