Senior Project Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to oversee major electrical packages on one of the largest renewable energy projects in Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing the full scope of electrical design and supply scope packages to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and strict specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pursue opportunities for design optimization and value engineering.
  • Review project documents such as design drawings, specifications, inspection reports, and changes, and take appropriate action if required.
  • Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks to enable the project to meet its schedule and obligations.
  • Manage subcontractors during construction and commissioning phases.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in delivering electrical packages of works on major infrastructure, energy, or power generation projects.
  • Strong project management and client-facing skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
