Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electrical Project Manager located in Sydney, NSW. You will be working side by side with the Company Director.

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for;

Overseeing and

  • managing 2x electrical estimators and delivery of projects ensuring delivery on-time, within scope and on-budget.
  • Manage projects budgets, monitoring expenditures and costs against deliverables.
  • Management of labour forecasting and resourcing requirements for project delivery.
  • Tasks include evaluating electrical engineering drawings, coordinating with contractors, and overseeing the procurement process.
  • The role requires a strong understanding of electrical estimating and contracting.
  • Lead and manage all safety, quality and environmental requirements ensuring operational activities are conducted in compliance with WHS, QA & Environmental legislation and standards.

Qualifications

  • The ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics, architectural drawings and engineering specifications in order to respond to tender and other enquires.
  • Familiarisation with Ausgrid and Endeavour energy network standards and comprehension in relation to specific projects .
  • Comprehension of ASP3 Electrical designs.
  • Computer literacy particularly in office software (MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
  • Experience in Level 2 or Level 1 ASP works.
  • Experience with simPRO would be advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organised with a strong ability to keep subordinates working in a structured manner.
