Senior Electrical Project Manager

Are you ready to lead landmark electrical infrastructure projects in one of Sydney's most vibrant coastal precincts? An established and respected electrical services provider, with a legacy of excellence since 2004, is seeking a dynamic Senior Electrical Project Manager to join their high-performing team.

About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of major projects across the Sydney Metropolitan Area. Reporting directly to the General Manager/Director, you will be responsible for overseeing Level 1 projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget-all while exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project delivery with a focus on safety, quality, and commercial outcomes specialising in overhead and underground power distribution.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project processes, systems, and methodologies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, developers, consultants, and contractors
  • Supervise and mentor site teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Manage project risk, from identification through to mitigation
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee procurement of materials and equipment
  • Identify and support new business opportunities and innovative solutions
  • Mentor and develop internal team members, nurturing future leaders
  • Engage collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external
About You
  • Formal qualifications in Civil/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Diploma or Degree level preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex overhead and underground construction projects up to 11kV
  • Proven track record in project management, with a focus on safety leadership and HSE performance
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset
  • Valid driver's licence
