Leisure and Wellbeing Coordinator Opportunity

This role offers the chance to oversee the delivery of person-first leisure and lifestyle programs in residential settings.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of recreational activity officers, providing residents with quality care, and actively supporting them to maintain their skill levels, independence, and mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Recreational Activities Officers with excellent leadership skills
  • Provide residents with high-quality care and actively support them to maintain their skill levels, independence, and mobility
  • Collaborate with other team members to effectively plan and organize all recreational activity programs
  • Evaluate individual resident's needs, values, spiritual, and cultural preferences when providing recreational care

We are looking for an experienced professional who possesses strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to solve problems independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as a good understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
