Job Overview:

We are seeking a Leisure and Wellness Hub Coordinator to promote, coordinate and facilitate a friendly and vibrant environment where seniors can participate in programs to improve their overall health, wellbeing and quality of life.

The role involves creating and maintaining a welcoming environment within the Club, actively engaging members of the local community to participate in health and wellbeing programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Be the face and advocate of the Club
  • Promote, administer and coordinate health, wellness and social programs
  • Create and maintain a calendar of events
  • Coordinate staff and volunteers to facilitate weekly programs
  • Registration and administration of clients into requested programs

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications in leisure and lifestyle, health promotion, therapeutic recreation, allied health, social science or similar
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to improving the health, wellbeing and quality of life of seniors living in the community
  • Ability to coordinate programs, set timetables and develop program calendars
  • Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and Client records system
  • Experience in aged care or interest in working within this sector
