Effective leadership is pivotal in guiding the day-to-day operations of a drafting function, ensuring high-quality outputs and client satisfaction.

A key role in our organization involves leading a dedicated team from an office-based environment. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the team, including supervising and mentoring staff to ensure they have the tools, knowledge, and support required to excel.

The successful candidate will lead by example, foster a positive working culture, and contribute to the continuous professional development of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage drafting operations to ensure successful delivery of all drafting projects to the highest professional standards.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to meet current and future operational needs.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to clients on complex projects.
  • Draft survey-related plans, including topographic, architectural, engineering, and cadastral plans.
  • Review and interpret 3D survey data for CAD plan presentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge of cadastral and land titling processes.
  • Expert drafting skills in AutoCAD and preferably with exposure to Liscad and 12D.
  • Strong understanding of coordinate systems in a CAD environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and client contexts.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage workloads, priorities, and deadlines.
