We're looking for an experienced Drafting Manager to lead our dedicated drafting team from our Norwood office.
This role is pivotal in guiding the day-to-day operations of the drafting function, ensuring high-quality outputs, client satisfaction, and the professional development of the team.
Responsibilities : You'll be responsible for leadership and management of the drafting team, working closely with other managers and survey teams across the business.
Key accountabilities include : Lead the team by nurturing talent and providing team members with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to excel Manage drafting operations to ensure successful delivery of all drafting projects to the highest professional standards Ensure resourcing and team development are appropriate to meet current and future needs Provide expert technical knowledge to clients on complex projects Contribute at a strategic level to the continuous professional development of the drafting team Draft survey-related plans including Topographic, Architectural, Engineering, and Cadastral plans Review and interpret 3 D survey data for CAD plan presentation What You'll bring : Qualities to lead, develop, and motivate individuals, fostering a high-performing team Expert knowledge of cadastral and land titling processes Expert drafting skills in Auto CAD and preferably with exposure to Liscad and 12 DStrong understanding of coordinate systems in a CAD environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and client contexts Strong organisational skills to manage workloads, priorities, and deadlines Competitive salary package Access to industry-leading software including the Autodesk suite and 12d / 12d Synergy Insurance cover including Life and TPD, annual skin checks, and flu vaccinations Wellbeing and learning support through a dedicated EAP, Wellbeing Manager, and L&D Manager Employee referral program with financial incentives If this sounds like an opportunity for you, we'd love to hear from you.
