Community Centre Site Supervisor Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to take on a critical management role at the Community Centre. As part of our senior management team, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for staff, volunteers, and family members.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and respectful environment that promotes trust and understanding among all individuals.
Coach and guide staff to achieve effective service delivery, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed.
Assist with daily operations, including supervising staff and volunteers, and covering breaks as needed.
Communicate effectively with the management team, other departments, and community partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
Promote a trusting and safe place for both family members and staff by mediating conflicts and ensuring policies are followed.
Troubleshoot issues and provide problem-solving support as needed.
Represent the centre professionally in all interactions with clients, staff, and community partners.
Requirements:
A diploma in a related social services field is preferred, but not required.
Certificate or equivalent in Trauma-Informed Practices is an asset.
Minimum two years of experience in the community social services sector in a senior supervisory role.
Working Conditions:
Full-time shifts, 37.5 hours per week, with some weekends required.
Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience.
Vacation accrued at a rate of 6%.
Eligible for comprehensive benefits plan, including pension, health, and dental coverage.
