About the Role

The Team Leader will provide leadership and supervision to Intensive Case Managers and the Peer Settlement Support Worker, collaborating with the J2SI Manager and ELC team, supporting program targets, quality frameworks, and continuous improvement.

This role involves assisting clients in securing permanent housing, improving their quality of life, and pursuing employment, education, and training opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support J2SI Intensive Case Managers in providing high-quality case management and service coordination.
  • Use the J2SI framework to measure and capture program outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of client records and data collection in line with policies.
  • Assist in auditing staff client files to meet accreditation and DFFH auditing standards.
  • Monitor team and individual service delivery performance based on targets.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace environment, fostering teamwork and quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with local ACCO and First Nation Workers for culturally safe support.
About You:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A degree qualification in social work, welfare, or related field, and/or management experience in a social service environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the housing sector including role, context, principles, philosophies, policies, regulation, and legislation.
  • An understanding of homelessness models, approaches, theories, and practices when dealing with clients.
  • Awareness of the issues experienced by persons experiencing financial hardship or crisis.
