Job Title: Social Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Services Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality social services to students, families, and staff
  • Develop and implement programs to promote student wellbeing and academic success
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in social work, counseling, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

**Role:** This role will provide professional support services to students, families, and staff. It requires a high level of latitude in determining how objectives are achieved, while being guided by standard procedures and school policy.

**Selection Criteria:** SC1 - Demonstrated experience in addressing a range of student wellbeing needs through individual counselling and small group therapeutic programs. SC2 - Understanding of approaches, policies, programs, and research relating to student wellbeing. SC3 - High level written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills for constructing positive relationships with staff, external agencies, and parents. SC4 - Experience in developing confidential professional records and case notes. SC5 - Ongoing commitment to developing professional understanding and expertise in the area of student wellbeing.
