Refugee and Asylum Seeker Services Team Lead

The Refugee and Asylum Seeker Services Team Lead is a senior position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the refugee and asylum seeker services program.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to refugees and asylum seekers.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members to enhance their performance and productivity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address service gaps and areas for improvement.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating caseloads and providing practice supervision support to staff.
- Contributing to the development of funding proposals and service models.
- Supervising and coaching direct reports to achieve their goals.
- Completing reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensuring programs and services operate effectively within available resources.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering health, social or community services, particularly with culturally and linguistically diverse clients and communities.
- Experience in providing professional supervision to client-facing staff.
- Strong understanding of theoretical frameworks and intervention strategies.
