About the Role

A skilled Administrative Support Specialist is required to provide expert support to a busy public health department. This role involves receiving and monitoring all correspondence, managing and recording it appropriately, and undertaking various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and monitor all correspondence coming into the department's inbox
  • Manage and record all correspondence effectively
  • Perform various administrative duties as required

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience of providing high-level administrative support
  • Health sector experience is beneficial
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • A current police clearance (or willingness to obtain)
