Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing and developing cloud-based analytics solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other associated technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyzing current business practices and identifying opportunities for leveraging Microsoft Azure Data & Analytics Services
  • Providing technical leadership and thought leadership as a senior member of the Analytics Practice in areas such as data access & ingestion, data processing, data integration, data modeling, database design & implementation, data visualization, and advanced analytics
  • Engaging and collaborating with customers to understand business requirements/use cases and translating them into detailed technical specifications
  • Leading quality assurance (QA) activities from design to implementation phase of proposed MDP solutions to customers
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in designing and hands-on development in cloud-based analytics solutions
  • Expert-level understanding of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Azure App Service
  • Designing and building of data pipelines using API ingestion and Streaming ingestion methods
  • Knowledge of Dev-Ops processes (including CI/CD) and Infrastructure as code
  • Experience in developing NO SQL solutions using Azure Cosmos DB
  • Strong experience in common data warehouse modeling principles including Kimball, Inmon
  • Experience in additional Modern Data Platforms related technologies such as Snowflake, Matillion, BryteFlow, and Tableau
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
