Job DescriptionA competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum is offered for this position.
The Design Manager will be responsible for planning, managing, and governing the design process of our data centres.
This includes working closely with architects, structural and service engineers, as well as specialist designers and technicians to develop coordinated designs.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative leader who can bring together diverse teams to create innovative and practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Architectural and Engineering (A&E) consultants during design phases to ensure timely production of technical drawings and documentation.
- Motivate internal and external design teams to meet deadlines and produce high-quality, clear documentation.
- Oversee third-party vendors and contractors across multiple design projects to ensure coordination.
- Collaborate with Customer teams to align expectations and meet project requirements.
- Review designs with stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes and reduce risks.
- Strong design, engineering, and analytical skills with attention to detail and innovation.
- Persistent and determined problem-solver, focused on delivering customer-centric outcomes.
- Understanding of the Building permit / consenting process.
- Effective team player with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
