Job Title: Sr. Financial Strategist

About the Role:

This senior leadership position involves guiding the finance function across multiple jurisdictions, playing a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategy and governance during a high-growth phase.

  • Lead annual budgeting processes, financial planning cycles, and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making and investor engagement.
  • Prepare comprehensive board packs and manage statutory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on pricing strategies, commercial proposals, and contract reviews to ensure sound financial outcomes and risk mitigation.
  • Drive capital raise activities, including financial model preparation, due diligence materials, and structured documentation of shareholder activity.
  • Manage tax and regulatory compliance across ANZ and the US, including R&D tax credits, insurance coverage, and risk registers.
  • Oversee core finance operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and monthly close across the group.
  • Prepare accurate and timely consolidated group financial reports.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, including recruiting, mentoring, and scaling the function to support business growth.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' progressive experience, preferably in high-growth environments, and strong financial modeling and planning skills. They should be a self-starter with a process mindset, able to build from the ground up.

Requirements:
  • Experience in startup and capital raising (essential).
  • Advanced Excel and system skills.
  • Enthusiasm for using AI tools to drive efficiency and insight.
