Financial Systems Strategist Role

The Financial Systems Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's financial strategy through expert advice, robust planning, and informed analysis.

About The Position

This senior position will maintain and enhance the organization's Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS), including costing and budget models.

  • Enhance financial systems to improve data integrity, forecasting accuracy, and process efficiency.
  • Deliver detailed financial analysis and support the organization's planning cycles.
  • Provide system-based solutions to meet both strategic and compliance needs.

The successful candidate will have experience in medium to large-scale Financial Management Information Systems, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead system improvements to ensure financial tools meet strategic and compliance needs.
  • Support end users and ensure data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Investigate financial issues, assess risks, and provide evidence-based recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, extensive experience in management accounting or financial systems, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial solutions.
