Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize strategic financial advice to executives and business unit leaders, providing insightful analysis and recommendations that drive informed decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality performance reporting, forecasting, and commercial analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Underwriting, Claims, Distribution, Technology, and Risk, to translate business strategy into actionable financial plans.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), encompassing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Establish strong relationships with the Finance Shared Services Centre in Manila, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and commercial acumen within a high-performing team of finance business partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or Master's degree required.
  • 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, including 5–7 years in leadership within a shared services or business partnering environment.
  • Proven understanding of insurance industry financial operations, including claims, policy administration, and regulatory reporting.
  • Successful track record of managing complex financial processes and driving improvements in shared services.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and ability to leverage technology for process optimization.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and financial compliance frameworks.
  • Flexibility to work across global time zones as needed.
