About the Role

This is a hands-on frontline leadership position overseeing maintenance activities across a primary manufacturing site. The role involves supporting two additional facilities and ensuring optimal performance and reliability of plant equipment and facilities.

The key to success in this role will be shifting the maintenance culture from reactive to preventative, embedding consistent planning processes, and driving the adoption of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

As a leader, you will be visible on the shop floor, coaching, setting the standard, and fostering strong engagement across your team. You will also contribute to strategy, capital works planning, and equipment replacement projects while building close working relationships with operations leaders.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • A relevant trade qualification, ideally with a mechanical background
  • Proven leadership experience in a maintenance or reliability-focused environment
  • Experience with rotating equipment (separators, decanters, screw conveyors) highly desirable
  • A background in FMCG, chemicals, oil & gas, or other high-standard manufacturing industries
  • Strong coaching skills and the ability to develop a diverse, multi-skilled team
  • A hands-on approach combined with the ability to contribute to long-term maintenance strategy
