BGIS is seeking a seasoned Facilities Supervisor to lead the daily operations of Ascot Vale facilities. This critical role involves overseeing Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), managing subcontractors and maintenance teams, and ensuring contract KPIs and safety standards are achieved.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a tight-knit team. They will also play a hands-on role in preparing facilities and grounds for upcoming events, supporting a small, collaborative unit that works together to achieve exceptional results.
Primary Responsibilities- Oversight of daily facilities operations, including subcontractor management and CMMS management
- Staff supervision and assurance of compliance with BGIS systems, contracts, and safety standards
- Acting as the first point of contact for BMS management office queries
- Provision of 24/7 emergency support through an after-hours on-call system
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure facilities meet safety and operational standards
- Coordination of event-related inspections, damage assessments, and rectification works
- Ad-hoc grounds care tasks such as relocating sprinkler hoses, blowing debris, and leaf collection
- Extensive experience in building/facilities management with integrated service delivery
- Advanced financial knowledge and ability to manage budgets, invoices, and POs
- Proficiency in CMMS and desktop applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement
- High School Certificate or equivalent
