Job Description

As a Senior Human Resources Advisor, you will drive initiatives that align with our company values and empower employees to thrive in a positive workplace culture.

This role supports the delivery of our HR strategies across the organization. You will play a key part in reporting to the Executive General Manager - Corporate Services and Business Improvement.

About the Role

Our organization seeks an experienced HR professional to provide expert guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices to managers and employees.

The successful candidate will be responsible for recommending improvements to workforce planning and succession strategies, as well as providing expert advice on employment legislation, awards, and workplace policies.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of IR strategies that align with organizational goals and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including developing job advertisements, screening candidates, facilitating interviews, and assisting with onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Recommend improvements to workforce planning and succession strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of IR strategies.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, promote diversity and inclusion, and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Coordinate programs that support employee well-being and mental health.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies to ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of HR projects.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar HR advisory role, with exposure to a broad range of HR functions.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and award interpretation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
