About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Leadership Specialist to join our team as a Staff Specialist Child and Youth Psychiatrist. This is a permanent full-time and part-time opportunity to provide clinical leadership and specialty psychiatry services to our Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS) teams in Redcliffe and Caboolture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clinicians to provide expert psychiatric care and advice to young people and their families.
  • Provide supervision, training, and education to registrars, junior medical staff, medical students, and other professional staff.
  • Support and develop quality improvement and evaluation measures.
  • Contribute to research activities and encourage innovation in the field.
  • Comply with and utilize procedures, policies, regulations, and standards that impact the position, including contemporary human resource management requirements and practices.
