Clinical Psychologist

At Metro North Hospital & Health Service, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services to adolescents and young adults who require more complex mental health support.
About the Role
This is a permanent full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing health service that values innovation, excellence in healthcare, and quality teaching. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based clinical services that meet the needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with headspace staff and other internal stakeholders to support integrated, timely, and seamless care.
- Provide consultation and clinical advice on mental health and substance use issues to professionals in headspace.
- Utilize effective communication skills to work cooperatively with adolescents, young adults, and their support networks, as well as with other healthcare professionals.
- Provide clinical leadership to contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of a contemporary treatment program for adolescents and young adults.
