We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Austin Health, working in the Secure Extended Care Unit (SECU). As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to support patients in achieving their long-term wellness and recovery goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address patients' functional and psychosocial needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and support patients' access to community resources.
  • Participate in quality supervision and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture that prioritizes wellbeing and personal growth.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Valid Victorian driver's licence.
