About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer to join our team at Macquarie Bank Limited. As a key member of our MarTech product team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering world-class customer engagement solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement clever engineering strategies to experiment and prototype features rapidly while delivering customer value.
  • Work with various engineering teams to design, develop, deliver, and maintain operationally efficient, robust, and resilient systems that align with our tech strategy.
  • Mentor and coach team members to drive success and growth.
  • Collaborate with experts to drive the best outcomes and deliver scalable solutions that drive customer and business value while aligning to risk-management principles.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of Marketing/Communications automation experience, ideally in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with financial services data.
  • An outstanding risk-mindset, with a proven ability to deliver scalable solutions that drive customer and business value while aligning to risk-management principles.
  • Experience with secure coding practices, security, performance, code quality, unit test automation, best practice implementation, and debugging/troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong desire to collaborate with other experts.
  • Experience with SQL, AMP script, and HTML.
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience of journeys and automation design - SFMC administration is advantageous.
  • Experience in Adobe Campaign or Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) is advantageous.
  • Hold relevant certifications is advantageous.
