We are seeking a skilled Collection Expert to manage debt recovery activities and build strong relationships across our branch network.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity focuses on performing debt collection tasks, monitoring accounts, and maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate with customers to follow up on outstanding debt and negotiate suitable payment arrangements.
- Establish long-lasting relationships with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure timely payments.
- Monitor accounts and payments into accounts.
- Place relevance holds and blocks on accounts where necessary.
- Record relevant customer notes and keep client files up-to-date.
Additionally, you will adhere to compliance and confidentiality processes, complete related reporting and analysis, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in an accounts receivable or debt recovery environment, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
You will also have:
- Strong data analytic skills and commercial acumen.
- Computer literacy with exposure to the Microsoft suite.
- A willingness to learn and get the job done.
